These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of our services, including psychological assessments, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), psychotherapy, counselling for anxiety and depression, trauma support, stress management programs, relationship counselling, and child and adolescent psychology services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in full. If you disagree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.
1. Services Provided
Dublin Mind Matters provides a range of mental health services delivered by qualified professionals. Our services are intended to support individuals in their mental well-being journey. While we strive to provide the best possible care, the outcomes of psychological interventions can vary. Our services do not constitute medical advice or emergency care.
2. Appointments and Cancellations

Scheduling: Appointments can be scheduled by contacting our office via phone or email during business hours. All appointments are subject to availability.

Cancellations/Rescheduling: We require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling of appointments. Failure to provide adequate notice may result in a cancellation fee equivalent to the full session cost.

Late Arrivals: If you arrive late for your appointment, the session will still end at the scheduled time, and the full fee will be charged.

No-Shows: Missing an appointment without prior notification will result in a charge for the full session fee.
3. Fees and Payments

Fee Structure: Information regarding our current fees for various services is available upon request and will be discussed during initial consultation or booking.

Payment: Payment for services is due at the time of each session unless otherwise agreed upon. We accept various payment methods, which will be communicated to you.

Refunds: Generally, fees for services rendered are non-refundable. Any exceptions will be at the sole discretion of Dublin Mind Matters.

Maintaining your confidentiality is paramount to us. All information shared during sessions and in assessments will be kept strictly confidential, in accordance with professional ethical guidelines and applicable data protection laws. There are limited exceptions to this confidentiality, which will be explained at the outset of your engagement with our services (e.g., disclosure if there's a risk of harm to yourself or others, or as required by law). Our data protection practices comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other relevant Irish legislation.
5. Limitations of Service
While our services aim to provide beneficial support, they are not a substitute for medical diagnosis, treatment, or emergency psychiatric care. If you are experiencing a medical emergency or a mental health crisis, please seek immediate professional medical attention. Our practitioners are not able to prescribe medication.
6. Client Conduct
We expect clients to engage respectfully with our staff and practitioners. Any abusive, aggressive, or inappropriate behaviour towards our team or within our premises will not be tolerated and may result in the termination of services.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, materials, and resources provided by Dublin Mind Matters, including but not limited to assessment tools, handouts, and program materials, are the intellectual property of Dublin Mind Matters or its licensors. These materials are for your personal use only and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent.
8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
9. Changes to Terms and Conditions
Dublin Mind Matters reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our online platform, and your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
